After a lifetime, and well over 100 years of family farming history, I retired to the beautiful village of Letwell. Letwell is set on the edge of South Yorkshire, bordering Nottinghamshire. It is made up of around 50 houses, a wonderful Church and a Village Hall. The population is around 120.
After renovating our picture postcard cottage, I was asked to write in the parish magazine about the experience, from this I decided to write my own newsletter for the residents of Letwell.
Letwell Alone is a collection of news from Letwell, my farming past and my views on countryside matters. It is hard to believe that a village so small could create so much news, we obviously have many characters, and believe it or not our own Parish Council! All of which add to the uniqueness of this wonderfull village.
I try to release a newsletter every couple of months or so, sometimes more depending what the Parish Council are up to!
Thank you for visiting,
Geoff
